Split Chain: Tour Diary - Day 9 - Rutherford / by William Green

We stayed the night with Josh’s friend Bryan, truly one of the kindest people we’ve ever met. He welcomed us into his beautiful home and treated us to a special breakfast the next morning. Before we hit the road, he gave us a quick tour of the local campus and showed us around town.

Our next stop was the venue in Rutherford, NJ, a gorgeous old theater that hadn’t been open in years. Backstage, Oli played piano for a bit, and we spent the rest of the afternoon unwinding and getting ready for the show.

I did not take many Digicam photos this stop since I was burning through some film.

This was my last stop with the boys, which made the night feel bittersweet. They’re a rare group, genuine, funny, and deeply special to me, but it’s time for me to head back to New York.
